Couch Time

The power has been out at our place. The power is also out at GrandB and GrandC's home. This means we get to spend extra time with a couple of our favorite people.

Today we learned the couch holds four comfortably. I think there is room for more.

Looks Like A Good Night To Me

I cannot speak for everyone but seeing Superhero like this makes me a little jealous of his nightlife:




And watching LG play with Big Poppy with this kind of smile makes me feel very calm:




But I really cannot complain because today marked the official count down to unemployment.

While turning in my resignation was an emotional decision I look forward to seeing what lies ahead for us. Most importantly I look forward to having time to do things I enjoy such as blogging more.

Getting Big

The past two days have been wonderful. Our little Superhero is staying awake more and more during the day. He is getting to be so big. Soon he will outgrow Uncle Chip's first bed. Good thing Big Poppy and LG have been working on Superhero's bedroom. He will be ready for his crib before I am ready!

Patiently Waiting

It seems like Superhero has more patience than me. We are waiting for Big Poppy and LG to bring home some ice cream.




I think a few people would be happy if I could wait this patiently.

Foul Ball

Last night was a night of first for Superhero. He went to his first MLB game. He saw not one, not two, not three but four homeruns in a single game by the hometown boys. And perhaps most exciting of all, Superhero saw LG snag a foul ball.

LG was pretty excited to have this in his hands.




However Superhero was not nearly as excited to see the foul ball land in LG's hands.




Once Superhero decided to wake up from the little snooze, LG helps him enjoy the feel of the ball.




All in all, not a bad night.
